General Dentistry Policy
Our fees use the Ontario Dental Association 2015 Fee Guide. We will provide you with a detailed estimate of the fees associated with any proposed treatment. The estimate will list each procedure planned and its corresponding dental fee, along with any associated parts and lab fees.
We accept Visa, Master Card, Debit, and cash. We also accept assignment which means we will accept payment directly from your insurance company. However any portion not covered by the insurance company is to be paid by the patient at the time of visit.
We will assist you in receiving the maximum allowable benefits from your insurance plan. When the treatment plan is finalized we will send a pre-determination of the proposed treatment procedures to the insurance company to help calculate your eligible coverage prior to treatment. In the course of treatment as procedures are completed we will submit your claims electronically to your insurance company so that you may receive your eligible reimbursement quickly.
During your first visit:
We will start by have you fill out forms to collect basic information along with information about your health and dental history. We will then perform a complete oral examination and take any necessary radiographs. This allows us to become familiar with your mouth and identify any dental problems you may have. We will then present treatment options, along with cost estimates, to address these dental problems.
